Family BBQ at Uncle Big Mike's

Picking Mulberry's

Belle Tante

Our family is making lots of changes. Last Family BBQ my husband had to take me to the store so I could pick up a bag of lettuce and have something to eat. The same Auntie who was making Fried Chicken last BBQ is no longer eating meat. This is the first time several beautiful veggies were grilled and yup...I ate all of them!!!

The "Juice"

Great Grandmother gets her hair done.

I have been banned from all card tables. Apparently I always "re-nege?" Truth be told  I still don't know what that means, but it's just as fun on this side of the table.

Les jeunes apprennent de vieilles traditions.(The young learn from the "Old School'')

A family friend ponders over, who know what??

no, those AREN'T my fingers!

"Il ne prend pas de jour entier pour reconnaître le Soleil ..."

My "Big Son" has been asking for Crepes, this morning his wish comes true.

Since he was a baby, he smells the food while it's cooking and lets me know if it's good, or may need something else added, or has to much of anything. I trust his judgement.

Crepes with Soyrizo, Veggies, and Eggs...

This little one whips cream and gets excited over it turning from a liquid..

I allow him to add as much Agave as it may need, he taste tested, everyone including Great Grandmother said it was perfect, "just sweet enough."

Soyrizo Crepe

I got busy making the fruit filling for crepes and didn't realized our whipped cream was almost whipped into butter.

Crepe filled with fresh Strawberry's, Bananas, and Blueberries, rolled and topped with Soy Yogurt, , and Whipped Cream, and Granola.
